The sixth season of the animated series Family Guy premiered on 23rd September 2007. The season aired a total of twelve episodes. In the first episode, the Griffin family enacts the scenes from Star Wars episode Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, to pass time when they are forced to stay at home during a blackout. After being convinced by Peter, Brian moves in with Jillian with Stewie joining them to help pay the rent. Also Meg and Chris are hired at the local convenience store where Meg ends up doing the hard work while Chris gossips with the manager Carl. To save his marriage and be able to walk again Joe decides to get a leg transplant after which he engages in extreme sports and starts ignoring his current friends who plan to cripple him again. When Lois and Peter go for a vacation on a cruise, Stewie becomes jealous and plans to take revenge.
