The second season of the animated series Family Guy started on 23rd September 1999. The season aired a total of twenty one episodes. In the first episode, Lois comes to know about her aunt’s death who has left her a posh summer mansion in a will and the family moves into the new mansion but soon loses the fortune after Peter makes a highly expensive bid at an auction forcing them to trade the house. The family has difficulty adjusting with the overly religious and intolerant father of Peter who has come for a visit while Peter resorts to kidnapping the Pope to resolve his conflict with his father and improve his bonding with him.
Peter makes his family cancel all the plans for New Year Eve after he is convinced that the world is about to end because of Y2K and when everything is destroyed by bombs, he sets out in search of the Twinkie factory so that he can survive and establish a new town.[Read more...]
