Brian is searching for meaning in life. He thinks a lot and finally decides that he is going to help people around him. He does some self introspection and realizes that his sense of smell is the most powerful faculty available to him. So, he rightfully gauges that the job of a sniffer-dog in the police will provide him with great job satisfaction. He successfully gets into the police and actually becomes the top-dog. Finally, his nose gets him into trouble.
