Hey friends! I am sure you must be wondering why, Britney Spears in not doing a cameo on Family Guy Tv Show ! Well seems like the creator of the show, Seth McFarlane did not want to hamper his relationship with Trey Parker and Matt Stone. He reportedly believes that if Britney makes an appearance on Family Guy, he won’t hear the end of it from the creators of the rival show South Park. The singer appeared as a cartoon in an episode of South Park last year and all her personal problems were highlighted in the show and were made fun of.
It has been excepted for a long time now that, Britney will be making an appearance on Family Guy Tv show and it is believed that she had even offered to lend her voice to the show. However Seth scrapped the plans, quoting that her appearance would harm the show instead of benefiting it and it would also take too much work to make the appearance possible. Now that really does not go down as a plausible explanation with the audiences who were expecting to watch their favorite singer on their favorite animated series.
But before we start blaming Seth for this bad decision, lets also keep in mind that there might be other reasons which prompted this decision. Probably the strongest one is that when Britney appeared on South Park last year, she was going through one of the worst phases of her life and the show could afford to make fun of all her problems.
But right now, Britney has cleaned up her act and is quite stable, so it does not seem to be the best time to make fun of what she has done in the past. Perhaps that is what persuaded Seth to go back on his initial plan of putting Britney on Family Guy. And even though we agree that the appearance of Britney would have surely meant an increase in viwership, it would not have made a very big difference, as Family Guy surely has the potential to rule the hearts of the people on its own! But someday at a better time, we would definitely like see the star making a guest appearance on our beloved show Family Guy!
